Book Order & More

• Volunteers needed: Tuesday, November 14th at 12:45-1:45.  We are cutting veggies to make stone soup and need two volunteers to help supervise. Any takers please contact me.
• On a similar note please send in any veggies you want to donate to the making of our "SCS Stone Soup" on next Monday the 13th.
• Please send in a reusable shopping bag (example below) that your student can use to transport cold weather gear and lunch boxes to Essential Arts (EA -art, music, PE).  Three days per week we go from EA directly to recess and carrying all the outdoor gear proves to be challenging... 

• Our next Book Club orders are due by 11/30/17. You can place your orders online at scholastic.com/bookclubs using my class activation code: RN4NH
• I hope these will be in before the holiday season begins
• We had our all school evacuation drill on Wednesday and your children were awesome!
• Encourage  your child to read each night at home, reading everyday outside of school is proven to support the development of stronger readers. If you need books don't forget about RAZ kids - (free online leveled books they can read on their own)

                     We had a visit from a local hero today... ask your child about why he was here.
